Welcome the the first sentence of my first blog.  I am thrilled to be blogging!  For a while now, I've been one of those writers who's just not made the time to write.  Well, that's about to change.  I'm turning over A NEW LEAF!  Now that the idea of blogging has been steeping in my psyche for a couple of years, I'm ready to be served!  My themes will probably meander for a while as I establish my footing in the blogging world.  There is so much to reflect on and blog about -- what's happening in the world, with people, my own life, and other myriad and sundry stuff --and I sense that this venue of the blog, forgiving a fluid as it is, will allow me at times to flow, at other times to focus.  I'm hoping my blog reflects something of who I am, where I'm going, and how this world, this life, has shaped me.  Welcome to my world.  Visit often.
